Jaxon is already becoming such a handsome Young Man!

We couldn't quite get them to put their heads together.
Dakota was up and gone before I could try to take a 2nd shot.

Check me out, Mom!

I guess Dakota was all ready to go. She just cracks me up sometimes.

Happy Birthday, AJ!

Cole, AJ, TC, Mavenie, and Avery at Play World Down Under!

AJ's oh, so cool Spiderman cake!

AJ made us laugh when he opened his card from Papa and Dran.
It played the theme music from Star Wars. The face says it all.

AJ showing off his Super Soaker from Devon and Robin.

After the party, I took this while TC and AJ were busy playing with the "Home Depot" tool set from Papa and Dran.

Cinderella just lost one of her slippers.
Does everyone know about Dakota's infatuation with shoes yet?

AJ turned 4 yesterday. I can't believe it! We enjoyed a pancake breakfast at Steve's Diner and went to "The Play World Down Under" to spend some fun time with AJ's cousins. Saturday evening, after a good nap, we had homemade pizza, cake, and opened presents with Grandma and Grandpa, Uncle Devon and Aunt Robin. What a great time!

"If you want to see how true love should be, then just look at us."

My mom and dad just celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary on Friday, July 18th. We all enjoyed having dinner with them and watching a video that Darrin put together of our family, throughout the years. All nine children were there and spouses, with 25 of their 33 grandchildren. It was so great and I was so happy to be here to share this time with them. I love you, Mom and Dad!

Coming so far!

Happy July 4th. Steve got home from work at 4:30 and then we drove to my brother and sister-in-laws house on Signal Mountain for a 4th of July Barbecue. The food was great and we all made a fruit pie to bring and they were judged. Well, I won 2nd place with my Peaches and Cream Pie. It's not first but I have to admit that first place was spectacular. Celeste made the ultimate Sweet Cherry Pie. Even presentation had me. I wish I could have gotten a picture of it before it was gone. The evening was enjoyable since I had lots of helpful hands to hold Jaxon. He was well taken care of. The other kids went swimming. Now, for those of you who have always known TC, you will remember that this child has always been deathly afraid of water. For 7 years I have fought TC to take baths and showers, and when he would go swimming, he clung onto me like a leach. Well, I can say that he has come a long way in just a few short months. Last night he swam in the deep end of the pool for the first time without a noodle or some type of flotation device. He has also been swimming under the water. I am so proud of him for coming so far with his greatest fear. As for AJ and Dakota, well they have no fear. It's a little scary. Way to go TC!
