SPUD HARVEST - OH YEAH!

Well, today was TC and Steve's last day of school for 2 weeks. Only in Idaho would you get SPUD HARVEST break!! HA, ha! Well, it is nice for them. Last weekend we went to Sarah's house and also went to Aspen's blessing. She is so adorable. It was so good to see Chris and Cindy. I miss my family but we love having so much of our family here. I would have died if I had not had them.

My baby girl!

Had to have the shoes!

My favorite tights. How fun!

Lovin' the hat!

Ok, I honestly thought that I would never have a girl. I have 8 brothers and my first two were boys, so I thought I would just always be surrounded by boys and men. So, now that I have my little girl, it has been so fun. She is so smiley and happy. I love little girl clothes and after TC and AJ wearing through all the boy clothes, it was time for something different. I have to admit that I love getting her dressed for church even though I wish I had more time for the details. Oh, well! Here are some of the pictures that I took that I thought were too cute!

Rexburg Temple!

The temple here in Rexburg is almost complete. Too bad they won't have the open house until after we leave. It will be hard to go back to having a 2 hour trip to the temple. We will be happy for those who get to enjoy having the temple just up the hill from home. We can see the temple from our living room window.

Cold season!

Okay, we are all getting over our colds now. AJ went back to preschool yesterday and he keeps telling me that he doesn't want to go because he just went yesterday. It makes me feel bad, like I put him in preschool too early. I guess if he doesn't adjust well in the next couple of months we can just find a preschool that only meets two days a week. We have less than 3 months before our move. I will never understand how we made it through three years in such a tiny apartment. I can't complain too much because I know families with 4 and 5 kids that are living in these apartments also. I'm just ready to get out.

AJ's first day of preschool!

Well, today was AJ's first day of preschool. He had a blast and didn't mind to see me go when I dropped him off. Appreciate the love!!! Anyway, I took advantage of my time without the boys and had Laura go with me to get my hair cut. Laura watched Dakota for me and made sure I wasn't getting a bad haircut. It was nice to have some time to do things but it is a little sad to think that my little boy is growing up so fast. Both of my boys are growing fast. Well, better get back to the grindstone!

Labor Day Fun!

Today we went to our 4th annual Idaho State Fair. We decided to rush through the farm animals and get right to the rides. We didn't miss the wonderful smell of cattle and horse poo! Anyway, we had fun watching the kids ride the rides, okay I rode the kiddie rides also. I did have fun. We went with some of our friends, Jon and Sarah Jackson and their little girl, McKayla. Anyway, we all had fun. We also went to see the once, Teton Dam on Sunday. Steve had to write his first 10 page paper on the failure of the Teton Dam about 3 years ago. We had not actually seen it until Sunday - sad! It was amazing and especially knowing all the details and stories behind it. Oh, and Dakota was very disappointed in Tennessee's loss to Cal on Saturday.
