Easter Sunday!

Easter morning was just a little rushed for us. We set our alarm clock for 6 am so that we could have time for the boys to look for the Easter eggs, that the Easter Bunny hid, and also get their clues to find their easter baskets. TC came in our room at 5 am and I made him lay down beside my bed and go back to sleep and then we slept in until 7. Yikes! We did get through it though. We had my parents over for dinner that night and my brother, Devon and his wife, Robin. It was good and I actually made dinner all by myself. I usually do for our family but not for company. I always like to have Steve's help when tackling a job like that.

Dakota got a baby doll in her basket. She loves her baby. She picked her up and held her to her neck and hugged her. Everyday she looks for her baby and gives her hugs and kisses. It is so cute. I will have to take a picture of that sometime when I get a chance.

Sorry, I couldn't get any pictures of the kids together. AJ didn't want to participate. I actually got him close enough to Dakota to take that picture. Oh well, I guess that is what I get for trying to take them after church when it is nap time and crankiness sets in.

Coloring Easter Eggs!

Well, today we colored Easter Eggs and cracked a few along the way. The boys had a lot of fun and Kota was right there trying to pull everything off the table and grabbing at the eggs. She has to touch everything right now. We just hurried them up and they all turned out great and then I cleaned up as fast as I could before she pulled the newspaper off of the table or something.

We also inherited a dog somehow. She has been hanging out at our house for a few days and I kept trying to get her to leave but she wouldn't. I didn't want a dog but she made me feel so sad. I hoped that she wasn't starving. I know, I am so weak. So, we bought her some food and I think she might be with us for awhile. At least until her real owner puts a collar on her and takes her home! What else should I have done? She is so cute.

Spring Break! - For who?

Well, I think that we are the only ones who will not be going on a spring vacation this year. How sad? Steve is still subbing and working some other jobs until he gets something permanent for this fall. We knew he wouldn't have a permanent job right out of school just because of the timing but it sure makes it tough. The boys have really enjoyed playing with their cousins and will miss them this week!

What silly kids?

I can't believe how big Dakota is getting!

AJ just cracks everyone up! Dakota is no exception.

Tagged!

I am finally checking my blog. So, sorry! Mandy tagged me with a few questions. I think these are fun because we learn a bit more about each other that we would have never known. I like learning about my friends. Anyway, here goes.

What I was doing 10 yrs. ago?

What I would do if I were suddenly a billionare?
Stop sweating!

3 bad habits
pop my knuckles and neck
I lose important papers
I floss after I brush my teeth - I know it doesn't make sense!

5 places I have lived
Chattanooga, Tennessee
Cleveland, Tennessee
Littleton, Colorado
Buena Vista, Colorado
Rexburg, Idaho

5 jobs that I have had
Cleaning offices for Olan Mills
Lerner New York
First Data Corp - Retrieving checks for banks
Unit Leader
Float Analyst
Secretary of G&S West Plumbing - Steve and Garry's company

5 things people don't know about me
- I don't want to go through another pregnancy. I hate taking shots to keep my blood thinned out. Yes, it makes me feel guilty.
- I am terrible at making phone calls so don't ever hire me as a Secretary!
- I am a mess and not very organized - I hope it is just the stage I am in with pregnancy and small children because I can't stand it.
- I love moving around and living in different places but I also like the feeling of being settled.
- I over analyze things way too much and like to be in control of everything in my life. I am learning that not everything needs to be so complicated and that I need to relax a little, especially if I want to be a good mom ( stop being so controlling)
and one to grow on - I hate the sound of my voice and my laugh. I hate hearing it on tape!

I would love everyone to answer these questions because I love reading everyone else's answers. So just do it! Thanks!
