A Day In the Life of Beth!

Things that are going on around here:
- Redecorated my living room and bedroom.
- Set up Dakota's new bunk bed....pictures to come.
- Still working out at the Y. Hooray for free babysitting.
- Reading The Lions of Lucerne.
- Trying to get back into my couponing.
-
Starting my CNA classes on February 15th.
-
Running back and forth between preschool and school to pick up and drop off TC and AJ.
- Doctor told me today that I am healthy.
- I am also the Activity Day leader for the 8 - 11 year old girls. It is so much fun.
- I also get to teach AJ's primary class for 3 more weeks.

What more could I ask for? Life is good. Sometimes I feel overwhelmed with the amount of work that my family seems to throw at me but lately Steve has worked really hard to help alleviate some of the pressures. He is washing my laundry faster than I can get it put away and I love it!

Christmas video!

I have to share this video because it is so funny. My parents sent Jaxon a dog for Christmas. No, not a real dog, and not just any dog. This dog laughs and rolls around. Jaxon will show you in the video what he thought of this dog. I think the rest of us have had more fun with his new dog than he has.

Our secret weapon of mass destruction!

Santa was so kind to have brought the older boys some machine guns that have lights and sounds as you pull the trigger. Jaxon has shown us that no gun is too big for him. He carries this gun around shooting and laughing. What have we created?

A DATE! REALLY?

Steve and I had dinner with his parents last weekend at the Broadmoor Hotel. We ate in the Penrose Room. It was so elegant and beautiful. We savor the moments we can be together without children screaming at us. It was a really nice evening. We took a walk around the grounds afterwards. I don't recommend wearing 3 inch heals if you do that, though!

Rock Climbing at the Y!!!!!!!!

Today TC and AJ tried a little bit of rock climbing for the first time. I was really proud of them for trying it. They really liked it and they also realized that it is harder than it looks. I want to try it too but I didn't think that it would be wise after swimming laps. My arms and legs were already feeling weak! Maybe next time you will see me up there:)
